Colorado Springs, Co.-In a surprising moment of vulnerability, Dr. Michaela “Mike” Quinn has revealed that the most distressing part of her glimpse into Christmas future was not that she was visited by a ghost, nor was it that she didn’t have answers on who her husband would be or why Matthew has children but is not accompanied by a wife, but rather how quickly her hair turns gray.
“It’s definitely the elephant in the room,” Dr. Mike confirms. “Charlotte insisted that she couldn’t tell me anything and she was just along for the ride, so I figured there wasn’t much to be yielded from inquiring. But it is distressing to say the least.”
Dr. Mike insists that it isn’t purely vanity that worries her about her gray hair and she shares that she is “completely comfortable” aging gracefully, but she didn’t think it would happen quite that fast.
“If you look around that room and put things together, you can tell much time didn’t pass,” Dr. Mike observes. “Colleen was out of medical school and applying to jobs, and Brian was in the Navy. Based on their appearances and what they shared about their lives, it can’t be more that I would say ten years in the future.”
Despite the relatively short span of time, Dr. Mike couldn’t help but notice that there she was, “just sitting in the middle of the room with hair as gray as can be and pulled back into some tight little bun like a grandma. Granted, it appears I was a grandma, but still–in ten years I should be in my late forties. I just thought I’d get to enjoy my hair a bit longer before it went all gray like that.”
At press time, Dr. Mike was agreeing that the second most shocking thing is how large the belly on her husband is while she decided to bake fewer biscuits when Sully came to dinner “just in case” he ends up being the one.
