Colorado Springs, Co.-Recent reports indicate that Dr. Michaela Quinn barely had time to spend time with her recently returned husband when she was shot.
“No matter what, something always seems to get in the way,” Michaela “Mike” Quinn reports. “Why, just when you think things are about to settle down, something else comes along to shake things up.”
Dr. Mike and her husband Sully are no strangers to surprises. In the last two years alone, Dr. Mike’s college friend showed up and revealed that her entire life was a lie, her mother and sisters showed up to involve themselves in daughter Katie’s birth even though no one invited them, and Marjorie Quinn hooked up with Loren Bray while bringing both women’s rights and the temperance movement to Colorado Springs.
Most recently, a man with a grudge against medical professionals shot Dr. Mike.
“Sure, we had been just settling back in when this happens,” Sully shares. “After we helped that clueless couple find their families and barely even made it home in time for Christmas, I could have used the rest. I guess I can still spend time with Michaela while she’s recovering, but this just isn’t really how I thought it would be when I got home.”
“Modern life,” Sully shrugs.
At press time, Patrick Collins and his sparkly scarf were rolling into town to shake things up a little more.
