Walnut Grove, Minn.-Recent reports indicate that Almanzo Wilder, area feed and seed man and Laura Ingalls’ crush, has realized that he is a bun guy.
“I always thought Beth was a cute kid,” Almanzo shares with The Prairie Review, “but I just thought of her like that–just a kid in braids, you know. It wasn’t until she put her hair in a bun that I realized suddenly–just like poof!, you know–that she is marriage material.”
Almanzo added that he couldn’t believe what a difference a day makes.
“It’s hard to wrap my head around the fact that the hair in that bun is the same hair that was in braids just days ago,” Almanzo continues. “And I can’t get over how just the way hair is styled completely changes your age. Braids–you’re a kid. Bun? You’re an adult. Kid, adult, kid, adult. Just like that. Amazing.”
At press time, Laura was regretting that she kept her hair in braids for so long and saying that had she known all she had to do to get Manly’s attention was put her hair in braids, she would have done it one his first day in Walnut Grove.
