Breaking: Charles Ingalls Provides Healing With Single Conversation

Walnut Grove, Minn.– Reports indicate that Charles Ingalls has provided emotional healing to a devastated man with a single conversation.

Jonathan Garvey, who recently lost his wife Alice in the blind school fire, abandoned his excessive drinking and returned to being a caring father after spending just a few minutes with Charles.

Charles Ingalls points out, however, that this isn’t the first time he has changed someone’s life with a single conversation.

“There was that time that Doc Baker quit doctoring,” Charles recalls. “I did get him to return to doctoring to help Beth in just a few minutes, though, so I guess I’ve been pretty good verbally for a while now.”

While Charles has demonstrated instances where he managed to turn lives around without farm labor, he thinks that emotionally healing Jonathan is his crowning achievement.

“I healed him enough in just a few minutes that he helped me find Albert even after knowing that Albert was involved in starting the fire,” Charles brags. “The fact that he was able to help me track down the boy and convinced him to return to me, well, it’s just proof of how powerful a stern talking to can be. Contrast this to, say, that time I fixed that family on the horse ranch. Granted, that was an entire family so it took a lot more than a few minutes of talking, but I still think it was good practice to fine tune these skills to get Jonathan over this tragedy enough to help me bring Albert home.”

At press time, Clay, the boy who had set the pipe aside on a pile of rubbish, was relieved that he would never appear in Walnut Grove again.
