Walnut Grove, Minn.- In an exciting development for the sleepy Minnesota town, the entire graduating class has gotten married.
In what seems to be a first for Walnut Grove, every student that has graduated this year has gotten married to each other when Rachel Brown and Willie Oleson tied the knot.
“This is such an exciting first for the town as well as for the school,” teacher Etta Plum reports. “It has been a rocky year, especially with having an addict in my classroom that slapped me. To have such a rough year ended by this happy historic occasion is really what makes teaching worth it.”
Laura Ingalls Wilder, proprietor of the newly minted Wilder Boarding House, is similarly excited about the event.
“It is so exciting that Rachel and Willie decided to come live at my boarding house,” Laura exclaims. “Just like that, I have become the housing solution for this year’s graduating class. This is going to be great for advertising.”
At press time, the newly wedded graduating class arrived to work at the restaurant, making the establishment the town’s largest employer of recent graduates.
